After Hours Access
Law school students and faculty have after hours access to the law library. Law School UCards are programmed to open the wooden library doors on the Plaza level, as well as the inner stairwell doors between the 2nd and 4th floors, after the library is closed.
Faculty and law students should not loan their cards to others as this risks library security. All faculty and law students will be required to show their UCard and sign in at the security monitor desk whenever the security monitor is on duty after hours.
Contact the Circulation Desk if a UCard is lost or stolen so that the new card can be re-programmed for after hours access. Contact the library regarding any questions or difficulties in access to the library after hours: lawcirc@umn.edu or call 612-625-4300.
